Being a Cheltenham wedding photographer there aren’t many places that are as stylish as No 131 . The rooms are beautifully lit, with quirky decor and stunning original features. All making for a truly gorgeous backdrop. No 131 suited Jenna & Simon to a tea, they are a super cool couple, with an eye for detail. They didn’t want a ‘wedding-y’ wedding. Just good food, a fair few drinks and lots of time to spend with their nearest and dearest.
I met up at No 131 with Jenna a few weeks before their day. (We had a sneaky Candy floss Gin – highly recomended! ) She told me she didn’t want many formal photos. I got a plan together, and decided on a handful of family shots followed by 5 minutes with just the two of them. The rest of the day was spent snapping all the candid moments. Weddings are about spending time with guests, soaking up the atmosphere, and enjoying that everyone’s there just for you. This mix of people may never all be in the same place again. As a Documentary Wedding Photographer what i love most is capturing all these true moments as they naturally unfold 💖
