Gloucestershire Wedding Photographer
Natasha and Sam’s wedding was full of heart, laughter, and exactly the kind of real moments I love to photograph. This was a gorgeous little spring wedding in April, held at Stroud Registry Office and followed by a chilled weekend-long celebration at Chambers Court, just outside Gloucestershire. And it was everything you’d want from a small, intimate do.
These two wanted relaxed, un-fussy, and full of love – and they absolutely nailed it.
Forgotten Bouquet!
They both arrived on a proper vintage double-decker bus . Natasha was tucked away on the bottom deck while Sam rode up top, and it was the guests’ job to make sure the two didn’t sneak a peek before the ceremony. Big shoutout to them for pulling it off!
Of course, weddings don’t always go to plan – and that’s where the real magic happens. As Natasha stepped off the bus, she realised her bouquet had been left behind at the reception venue. But honestly? She didn’t let it phase her one bit. She laughed it off, and marched into her ceremony bouquet-less but beaming. Honestly, she didn’t need anything else!
The Most Beautiful Vows
The ceremony itself was just beautiful. Natasha and Sam had written their own vows, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. Even the registrars were dabbing their eyes – and they’ve seen it all! There’s something so special about small weddings like this – where every person there is fully present and every moment hits you right in the feels.
Afterwards, everyone piled back on the bus (which now had some serious party vibes going on), and we trundled back to Chambers Court for the reception. The couple had booked the whole place via Kate & Tom’s, giving them the run of the venue for the whole weekend. No rushing, no stress – just a laid-back weekend of love, laughter, and good food.
Natasha and Sam hopped off the bus into a shower of bubbles. Which delighted the kids ! Then we took a little wander around the grounds for some relaxed couple portraits. The whole place had this beautiful charm, and with that soft April light and wind it all felt pretty magical.
Then it was time for dinner – one big long table with all their favourite people, sat elbow-to-elbow, plates piled high with delicious food. No top table. No seating plan politics. Just family-style dining and plenty of wine. The kind of evening where everyone chips in and you don’t stop laughing.
Honestly, days like this remind me why I do what I do. No fuss, no frills – just two people in love doing things their own way, surrounded by people who adore them. As a candid wedding photographer in Gloucestershire, I live for these real, unfiltered moments – the forgotten bouquets, the happy tears, the cheeky glances across the table.
