Cotswold Wedding Photographer
From the moment I stepped into the girls house that morning, I knew this wedding was going to be something special, the energy in the house was buzzing. There was singing, dancing, glasses of fizz flying about, and even a cheeky game of limbo. All before midday. That’s when you know it’s going to be a good one.

Leah and her bridesmaids were just brilliant — full of laughs, stories, and fun that makes the getting-ready part of the day one of my favourite bits about being a Cotswold wedding photographer.
Tom and the boys were getting ready just up the road at the barn itself, which meant I could nip over and catch thirty chilled, beer-in-hand minutes with them. The garden games were already out (giant Connect 4 and bean bags, naturally) and the whole vibe was just very laid-back and fun.

Their ceremony at The Barn at Upcote was absolutely beautiful. A few nerves, a couple of giggles, and all the emotion you’d expect from two people saying thier “I do’s” in front of the people who matter most. Afterwards, everyone spilled out into the courtyard for a proper celebration — full of cocktails, canapés, and laughter.

Leah had thought of everything. The styling was full of personal touches, including her dad’s rather epic gin bottle collection used as centrepieces. It was creative, thoughtful, and super cute. As a Upcote Barn wedding photographer, it’s always such a treat to shoot a day where the details reflect the couple so beautifully.

The speeches absolutely hit me in the feels. So many stories, so much love, and lots of laughter (plus a few misty eyes around the room). It was obvious just how close both Leah and Tom’s families are — a proper warm hug of a moment, really.

And then came the cake. Not just any cake — Colin the Caterpillar, which absolutely needs its own shoutout. Classic. Iconic. Delicious.

From there the party properly kicked off, and when I left them the dancefloor was already bouncing. The kind of evening you just know is going to be unforgettable.

Leah and Tom, thank you for trusting me to capture your gorgeous day. It was an absolute joy from start to finish.
If you’re planning your own wedding at The Barn at Upcote, or looking for a relaxed and candid Gloucestershire wedding photographer, I’d love to hear from you. Whether you’re throwing shapes on the dancefloor by 7pm or planning a gin-filled garden party, I’m here for all of it.
